Innu Nikamu celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2024! This very special edition was a resounding success, allowing more than 30,000 festival-goers to enjoy a colorful musical experience in an Indigenous community of 1,600 souls 1,000 kilometers from Montreal. This edition also influenced the Folk Alliance International to award Innu Nikamu the "Spirit of Folk" prize in 2025, among hundreds of festivals, for its 40 years of sharing and pride.

We look forward to seeing you at the 41st edition, which will be just as rich and vibrant!

Canada's largest alcohol-free festival!

Innu Nikamu proudly stands out as Canada's largest alcohol-free festival: a festive, family-friendly, safe, and inclusive event. Here, euphoria is created by music.

Culture, music and community coming together are enough to create unforgettable memories for young and old!

Cultural activities

The festival has always given pride of place to toddlers and their families.
Supported by the Innu-aimun and Innu-aitun sector of ITUM, cultural activities are offered throughout the event.

Crafts, traditional food tastings, workshops... Everything comes together to make Innu Nikamuniss a great Innu family celebration!
